What's new in Nasa Labs?
Gotta admit, haven’t updated here as much as I would have liked lately. Ideally I’d like to update on what’s happening in the studio daily, or semi-daily. Been so busy, that’s it’s slipped my mind and while that sounds like a ploy, it’s actually true. Here’s a run down:

01/03/11 - Some Mixes Completed Last Week
Finished mixing down the “Master Peace” Remix that I did for the upcoming “Toxicology Music EP” last week. 12/28 Back in the Lab
After some nice days celebrating with the family, I’m back in the lab mixing and mastering. Today in particular I have started mixing down my remix for a Short Fuze & Nasa track called “Master Peace”.

12/10 Mixing "Chain Lockin'"
Proud to say I’m mixing down the first of a few tracks for Adam Warlock’s “Dark Weapons” EP. Throwing all the stops at “Chain Lockin’” here. CLA effects on vocals, panned & SansAmped Ad lib track, some various stereo wideners on the main beat elements. This EP will be very loud and very heavy. Look for it Q1 in 2011.

11/4 #2 - Dangerous Strangers (Meanest Man Remix)
Finished up my second mastering of the day and about to try and make a dent on #3. Just finished work on a remix of “Dangerous Strangers” by Superhumanoids, remixed by Meanest Man Contest. I’ve done other work for both groups in the past, always a joy, always something really interesting to get into.

11/4 Maticulous Single Mastering
Just finished mastering the single for Maticulous’ upcoming EP. The single is called “Body the Beat” and features Ruste Juxx, R.A. The Rugged Man and Rock from Heltah Skeltah. The joint is bang. All three of them kill it, Rock really flipped some innovative lyrics on it. Was a pleasure to work on. Look for a music video of the track to appear soon. We’ll post it here...

11/3 Preparation Day
Wow, just spent a few hours setting up my sessions for tomorrow. I have a lot going on this week but am always looking for more. Some really cool Masterings and Mixings as well. I’ll give some more info on what all is going on tomorrow when I start to dig into them. It’s important lay out busy days ahead of time though.

10/09 2 Album Projects Mastered this week
The sun rises again after a busy week in Nasa Labs. Mastered 2 full length albums, both really were compilations of sorts, so they had wildly different mixes and production from track to track. 09/24 Mixing and More Today
Today I’m mixing down a new track for Manifest (@manifestmusic). It’s called “Make Em Melt” and may end up being the single for his LP.
Yesterday I put the finishing touches on DJ Brace’s mastering of “Synthestia”, it was sent off for pressing today.

Another cool remix by the Superhumanoids, this time of a Local Natives track called “Shapeshifters” come through the Labs today. 08/31 Mixing - Adam Warlock
Mixing down a new Adam Warlock track produced by Skribe1. It’s called “The Future”. Mix is going really well. This is a banger. It’s going to be on the upcoming Uncommon Records/Soapbox Clothing Compilation and will end up on “The Land of the Way It Is” from Warlock in 2011.
