Getting an early start today on finishing “Don’t Feed the Machine” from Short Fuze. This will be the lead single for the record. The album is about half way finished now, if not a little more. It’s loud as calamity. Prepare your ears.
Mixing down “Beautiful Anger” from Shortfuze today. This one is a challenge because of the beat/tempo change, getting it tracked out with Beat Clocks was well….”Fun”. But it’s all tracked and ready for some treatment today. One of the latest tracks on this Shortfuze LP to be made.
The first track of the week from Short Fuze’s upcoming Uncommon LP was completed last night when “Poison Makes Me Pretty” was mixed down. All week this album will be getting the business at Nasa Labs. At the end of the week, we might just have a sneak preview of a track for you exclusively here.
This week I will be working on tracks from Shortfuze’s LP. It’s been produced entirely by myself and will be out on Uncommon Records in May. It’s been a long journey, spanning 2 computers, 2 beat making approaches, 2 states and about 2 years. Finally, we’ll get to hear this dope album in it’s complete form. Today, I’m getting it started by mixing down “Poison Makes Me Pretty”, the opening track to the album.
Probably the most tedious and boring thing that can go down at Nasa Labs, or any studio is making censored versions of songs. Time to break out that Reverse plug in and hear isssssssht and ufffffck. Can’t believe the radio still makes us do this SHIT. There I said SHIT, come and get me.
Been at work steadily pounding out 3 beats in 2 days. Bangers sent out to Elucid, Masai Bey and billy woods. Let’s get it. An official lockout of the studio is taking place in a few weeks for the completion of Short Fuze’s solo LP. Details on that coming soon.
