10/09 2 Album Projects Mastered this week

The sun rises again after a busy week in Nasa Labs.  Mastered 2 full length albums, both really were compilations of sorts, so they had wildly different mixes and production from track to track.  The first was Masai Bey’s “Collector’s Bey”, which is a collection (obviously) of classic tracks and exclusives from Masai.  It was put out as a free download by Uncommon Records, you can hear it/get it here http://uncommonrecords.bandcamp.com/album/collectors-bey.

Then I moved on to the “No Dough, No Show” Compilation, which is a joint venture from Uncommon with Soapbox Clothing coming out of the UK.  The compilation features The Presence, Teddy Faley, Atari Blitzkrieg, Willie Green, Agartha Audio, Kitchen Khemistry and many more.  Look for it very soon.  Somewhere in between I actually did a mixdown for The Presence’s contribution to NDNS, “Why?”.

The next few weeks I’ll be digging into projects from Manifest, Maticulous and Superhumanoids along with the typical Uncommon business.

SXSW is coming up!  Write me for low prices as you get ready or for when you return.  I’m available at any time at uncom37@yahoo.com.
