    12/28 Back in the Lab

    After some nice days celebrating with the family, I’m back in the lab mixing and mastering.  Today in particular I have started mixing down my remix for a Short Fuze & Nasa track called “Master Peace”. 

    Recently, I’ve completed mastering 2 album projects.  One for Pittsburgh/NYC Producer Maticulous which will be released via Fat Beats and features Ruste Juxx, Rock (from Heltah Skeltah_, Reef, R.A. The Rugged Man, Brown Bag All-Stars and more.  It will be available digitally and on Vinyl. 

    Also mastered a release from myself called “The Iomega Years” which is already available at the Uncommon Records Online Store.

    A few more projects I’m excited about are lining up to get started and few more that have been done here are about to get released.  Stay tuned.

    10/01 Mastering - Collector’s Bey

    Finished off the mastering of an Uncommon Records release today.  It’s called “Collector’s Bey”.  It brings together classic tracks, rareities and even some live audio from Masai Bey.  It was really fun to work on this since I’ve been a fan for so long and had some hand in helping put the tracks on it.  I know if I’d be happy with this if I was waiting on something from Masai right now.  This will be the perfect free DL to tell people, “you never heard Masai?, go get this NOW”.  It will be out on October 4th, 2010.

    “Welcome to The Hollow Earth” is a video sampler for Agartha Audio’s latest album “The Hollow Earth”.  The video and audio was edited at Nasa Labs.  This is another service that can be offered here at the Lab.  This video has already gotten nearly 500 views in a week!  The video features original work on canvas by Dig Dug, who is also the producer of the record.  This album has been released on Nasa’s label, Uncommon Records.  www.uncommonmusic.net.

    Today in Nasa Labs: Been mixing down “Problematic Solution- Nasa Remix”.  It’s going to be on Taiyamo Denku’s Free Download “Articles of Mind - Lost Thoughts”.  That’ll be out January 26th along with his full length LP “Articles of Mind”.  This joint features Pumpkinhead, Urban Legend and Jise One.  It also has Shortrock holding down the cuts.  Normally I won’t post up my mixes just as I do them like this, but since this is the first day of the blog, what the hell????  It’s out Tuesday anyway.  I will post audio of random mixes I’ve done on the regular though.
